常常 Oftentimes

Shot and edited by Cha in 2017, The video is about a girl who is in love and spends one of her days in her room doing nothing but missing the one that occupies her mind. I was in a long-distance relationship myself at that moment. Just like the girl in the movie, I was constantly wondering what my loved one is doing, and thinking about. So I decided to make a film to memorize the bittersweetness of love. In the creation of OFTENTIMES, attention was paid to the way of expression and the film was set in a black-and-white tone with the roughness effect. During the 3 days of shooting, I tried to arrange the elements and the context in the manner of paintings by controlling and simplifying the appearance. Without any dialogues and narration, I tried to amplify the emotions and leave spaces for viewers to participate and complete the story with me. 这段影片是查查2017年拍摄并编辑的，讲述了一个女孩坠入爱河，在她的房间里的一天，除了想念占据她心灵的那个人，无所事事。 那时我自己也在异地恋。就像电影里的女孩一样，我一直在想我心心念念的人在做什么，在想什么。所以我决定记录下处身于爱情中神经微妙的颤动。 在常常的创作中，我注重表达的方式。影片设置为黑白色调，有胶片的粗糙效果。在3天的拍摄过程中，我试图通过控制和简化画面，以绘画构图的方式来安排元素和语境。在没有任何对话和叙述的情况下，我试图放大情感，给观众留下参与的空间，和我一起完成这个故事。
