The Feast

THE FEAST simulates the inner world of patients with eating disorder. According to Freud’s personality theory, we've created three roles — the mother/seducer (id), representing the primal impulse to eat; the father/regulator (super-ego), who operates as a moral conscience; the child (ego), who is both the mediator and the implementer of reality. Struggling between her id and super-ego, the child ultimately falls into a wrecking dilemma that would in the end, lead to her own downfall.
