Late April is the mating season for Chinese crested terns. They first sing and then perform a circle dance around each other for emotional communication. However, the rare Chinese crested terns can't always find a suitable partner. Therefore they sometimes mate with the great crested terns that look like them. Produced by the CGTN Nature team, "Journeys in Nature" presents China's distinct ecology and biodiversity through a range of mini-series that cover different regions across the country. In this series, the film crew travels to Xiangshan County, east China's Zhejiang Province, and records the stories of the animals and people living there.
